Thank you for your interest in A.P. Larsen Studio! Our studio is made up of a husband and wife team, Andy & Peggy Larsen. Andy has been providing professional photography services in the Marquette area since 1997. Since their marriage in 2005, Peggy has been contributing more and more to the studio operation. We work closely with you as acustomer to design a photographic package that meets your needs, and we do our best to make sure you're happy with the end result. Most of our business comes by way of referrals from satisfied customers.
Over the years, we have photographed weddings, family portraits, anniversary celebrations, church directories, town-wide events, sports teams, senior pictures, animals and commercial projects. We enjoy it all, and would love to talk to you about your photographic needs. Our studio serves primarily the Marquette area, but will travel outside the area as well. In the past, we have even traveled to photograph weddings in the Traverse City and Kalamazoo areas, as well as in California.
Below you can find some basic information about our wedding photography packages, and a copy of our standard contract for you to review. There is also a sample schedule which will give you a an idea of how we like to set things up. We work with you to tailor ourphotography to your desires. We have placed several sample photos online. These are low resolution scans to give you a very general idea of the type of work that we often do. If you like what you see, please call and set up an appointment to view some of our work in person.
We also photograph events, such as anniversary parties, family reunions, or anything you would like recorded on film. Prices vary depending on your needs and the style of event. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Because we operate out of our home and don't have a physical studio, we offer primarily environmental portraiture. We generally photograph seniors outdoors, and do family portraits either outdoors or in your home.
Do you need photos to update your brochure? Spruce up your web site? Don't settle for snapshots. We offer affordable pricing on commercial photography, and can offer digital or film packages tailored to suit your needs. Past projects have included providing photos for use in promotional material for The Bluffs assisted living facility in Houghton, Moyle Construction of Houghton, and event coverage for WHWL radio in Marquette.
